Well it would appear that Direct Protect Warranty got a hold of an AT&T list....reading through all the complaints....half have AT&T wireless. I too pressed 1 and acted interested.....I was just goofing but I hung up by accident.....they called me back from 1-866-646-5957....I waited like an hour and called back and asked for customer service. They transfered me and they said Direct Protect Warranty...customer service how can I help you.......BUSTED
Just got the call. Like everyone else I didn't recognize number so I didn't pick up. I am getting more and more of these calls and from different numbers to. They all started after I accepted a loan with no interest for 12 months from American General Financing. Is it a coincidence perhaps, is it not them, too bad! They don't quit calling either. All my cell provider, (Verizon) tells me is "...you can "subscribe" (purchase) a plan where you can block numbers like this...". So now what, I'm not buying more add on BS... Down with American General Financing! I'm not behind in my payments leave me alone I don't want, and God help me, to not ever use you again!
Same goes with "Insurance" on my credit cards, I don't want it!
