I think it is funny that they called all our numbers in a matter of minutes. I am from California and I have Verizon Wireless and they called my cell phone just now. Isn't it illegal for them to call cell phones?
I've received probably 10 calls from these people in the past 8 weeks. So this time I answered it, pressed #2 for "reinstate my warranty" and spoke to a gentleman about my "car warranty." He asked for info about my car. I said "don't you have that info?" He said it was just for verification. So I made up a car... and went through the process until I asked a few too many questions and was immediately hung up on. No luck calling back.
I get this number on my cell about twice a month and never answer it. You'd think they'd stop calling by now. They never leave a message either. I don't know how they got my number b/c I put my cell number on the "do not call list" when they were first allowed to start spamming cells. Is there anywhere else we can report these people? Like a government website or anything?
