Somebody has been calling from 239-719-1994 several times a day. They call the cell phone of a vulnerable adult under my care. She has told them " do not call this number anymore" but they still call. Never say what agency, but today "Steven" said he would call her everyday if he feels like it. When i try to call the number i always get a busy signal. I know the area code is Florida, but that kind of harrassment is illegal in Minnesota. I'm going to our state AG now.
I am sick to death of these robo-calls. I cannot see how they could possibly get any business whatsoever from this sort of approach. Calling my cell phone during work hours, disconnecting until magically they speak one day. Act like they are doing me a favor and despite ordering them to stop calling ... they do. They use different numbers but it is all the same SCAM. Sell me insurance for a car with so many restrictions on it I wouldn't be able to figure out when I could use it. This is against the law and our current Congress just encourages these types of businesses to be more predatory for the bottom line of corporations. I am on the no call registry. I am about to file a class action lawsuit against the Department of Justice for not enforcing or even pretending to enforce a law meant to keep consumers safe. Each of these calls is revenue for the cell phone company at my expense ... that is wrong.
