After this number called me several times I finally answered. I said "hello" twice and then heard a beep and then the call disconnected. Does anyone know who the number belongs to and why at is the purpose of their call?
Yet another phone call from out of nowhere, from half-way across the country (Florida). I don't know anyone in Florida. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. So chances are it was a scam, selling electricity, or credit card debt resolution. One more number to add to the list.
I received a call from this number today. It was displayed as a Fort Myers, Florida number on the caller ID. Anyway, there was a woman with a foreign accent on the other end, and she is definitely a scammer. I have been receiving a lot of calls lately from random numbers across the states. I can't remember what state the calls started coming from, but after blocking them, I started receiving calls from another area. They all begin by asking to speak with the same person. After telling them that they have the wrong number, they begin to ask questions such as do you own a car or are you the homeowner? All of this is just an attempt to get personal information from you in order to scam you. I have been blocking them, but it doesn't work. They'll just find a new number. My suggestion: DO NOT ANSWER UNFAMILIAR NUMBERS. IF THEY'RE REALLY LOOKING FOR YOU, THEY CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE.
