They called me trying to give me a case number on a account that was placed in bankruptcy some 10 years ago. They are breaking rules left and right. For one, they can't harass you for an account that has been placed in bankruptcy. For two, they are not checking the statue of limitation. If reported, I could move a legal case against them for harassment. The state will follow through with such request because the victim is within the right to do so. If I get one more call. Just one more call, I am going to have my lawyer file a motion. What these debt collectors do not release is that the days of scamming people and fear tactics are over. I can't tell you how many of these places ended up closed with its owners behind bars.
