Just received a call from this number 10 minute ago and a computer generated voice message saying the same thing as the first poster except it said it was regarding a U.S. Treasury enforcement action. I figured it was a scam, but just thought I would check. They certainly are trying (they are trying to eliminate the accent and speech problem).

I have missed calls from this number many times and a few times that I attempted to call back, it either was a busy signal or I received the message that the caller was unavailable. Today, I received ANOTHER missed call from this same number and a voicemail stating that I would be serving prison time if I did not contact them. So for entertainment, I called them back and they finally answered my call. The first person I spoke with was baffled when I said that I knew this was a scam, and said, "Okay Danielle, you will be spending the next 5 years in prison" and hung up on me. Noted - I did not give them my name when I called them. So, I called back, got a different person, again, I told them that I knew this was a scam, and that if they do not stop harassing me that I will be contacting the police, and I was again hung up on. So again, I called back and they got a rude attitude with me and said that I was the ones doing the harassing, and that I would end up in prison. Also, these people all had a very heavy accent and posed themselves as Officers of the IRS. I'm pretty sure that has to be illegal. But anyway, I am very aggravated and I hope they don't call back again.
I got exactly the same call...I don't understand what the actual scam is...many of you called them back and they continued to hang up on you...one thing they goyt right about me is that I will have to appear in court ..etc...well I do appear in court regularly...that's my job...
