They called me today, with the same story; $8K to be given to me in cash via a direct deposit to my Bank OR Visa Card OR via Western Union ( I figured WU was best)! Got a confirmation # LM oo1 to call and give to the Senior Manager Carol Morenzi at 1(240) 206-1985 (Maryland), so when I tried to call, phone never got answered! I figured it was a scam even though they knew my Name & phone number! Google searched the number & scam! Ugh! =Judy=
I received a call from this guy telling me I was going to received free grant money. When I told him I looked it up on the internet and that it was a scam I was going to report to the Attorney Generals office he started yelling at me. That he did not have time for this. I told him they where going to be arrested for trying to scam people.
Just got a call O knew it was a scam as soon as he said free money. Like someone will give me money. Yeah right. The 240-206-1985 number is no longer in service
All I know, is the smart thing to do is when u get a call saying you have been chosen, and then you are asked to send money,....Hellooo, it dnt make sense!!!! I don't have that kind of money!! I usually tell the caller to lend me the money! Haha they hang up on me!
