***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.
Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Credit One Bank Debt Collection. I get 5 to 6 calls a day from these jerks , My wife gets calls from them on her cell phone as well.My wife and I have no connections to them what so ever.My 83 year old mother has a credit card with them and she can no longer pay her payments. I think her balance is $600.00 +.They act like it's a million.They took full advantage of her!. I thought it was against the law to call other people about someone else's bill.All I can say is stay far away from this place.
