Called about my car warrranty about to expire
First person was a screener. Takes your name and zip code and puts you on hold for less than 1 minute.
Next person says he's from United Warranty Services. Wants vehicle Make, Model, year and VIN.
I started asking questions and didn't get anywhere. Just more sales talk, which is fine, but I said I wasn't interested. More sales talk. I hung up!
Interesting to find this site and interesting that previous posts are within the past few hours!
My phone (on the Sprint network with STi Mobile, but with the number ported from Virgin Mobile's block in the (860) 459 exchange) literally just rang and I threw it into Google for the heck of it. Glad I didn't waste my minutes picking up, obviously they're plowing through (860) just now.
I turned on my phone after work and had a voice mail from this number that was only six seconds long. All it said was "the specialist" in a female voice. I'd received the same exact voice mail a while ago from I think a different number. I didn't save that message thinking it was just a wrong number.
