I called back this number as others have done and they say they are American Diabetes Association. As others have said, they say to press 1 if you want to be removed from the call list. We'll see what happens - have received numerous calls from different numbers with same caller id - never leave a message.
its the diabetic relief assoc its a scam company and has no direct connection with the real assoc do not give them any information just tell them to please stop calling or you have the wrong number they will stop. they have several numbers that come in from jacksonville fl and triangle va.
This number calls every morning, very early. I finally got fed up and called back. It was the American Diabetes Association with some very important community news for me, according to the robo voice that was on the outbound message. I had the option to opt out, which I did. Funny thing, though is that I also had a call from another number for the American Lung Association, and when I called to opt out of that, I got the same robo voice recording with the exact same procedure and verbiage for opting out. Clearly this is from some sort of fundraising company who handles multiple not for profits.
I answered and the lady asked for my mom. On the caller ID it shows: ADA 240-210-7102 at 1:11 pm (Pacific TIme) on the 16th of April, 2011. Very annoying, grrr
