I suspect the scammers are spoofing this number as well as 207-384-5987.
As soon as I disconnected my phone from a call coming in from the 207 number, this number called back immediately.
Receive calls daily from "Mike at Dish TV" 240-210-7143
Mike only offers you to "dial 1 to speak with an operator"
and then promptly disconnects as "no operators are available."
I called back long distance to Maryland only to hear a poor quality
recording of an lady from INDIA offering "dail 1 to remove" or
something else indistinguishable.
Guess what: I HAD BEEN planning to order DISH TV, but after these
annoying calls have decided on another cable provider instead!
All this bodes of dishonesty on their part.
I am preparing to file a criminal harassment complaint if this continues.
No caller ID, just the number. I called back and got a message stating my phone number and asking if this is the one I want to move. I hung up immediately.
Call came up unknown and with the number. They hung up on my answering machine and when I called back there is no name of the company just a quiet voice asking if I wanted my number removed. Almost missed it but press 1 when you hear the recording.
