I called back and asked the party for their IRS agent ID number -he provided 237211--the person representing the IRS claim I had a arrest warrant & law suit against me. I hung up on him. I know the IRS doesn't work in this manner.

got two calls from this number today. I googled the number and got this site. I filed a complaint with the IRS, the website Henry gave above www.TIGTA.gov
On Sept 26, 2014, I received couple of voice messages from this number regarding the IRS action. I decided to call and a guy answered. He said he could help me avoiding the IRS action by wiring him $6786.00. I pressed him and he gave me a name of Mark Hamilton, IRS badge number - 237211. I checked and found out this was a scam. I tried to call the number again today (Nov 12, 2014). There is a voice greeting now and sounds like Indian or Pakistani.
