I put the phone down on the desk while he was maundering on.  It disconnected about a minute later.

Called and hung up.

Don't answer if I don't know it.  Yes, says from Frederick, MD.  No messages.  Has called twice this month. I set this number to announce to them that "this number is disconnected" when they call.
