Got an IRS scam message on this number:1-844-551-0574 identical in sound and content to the call on 1-240-252-5164. Sounds like an electronic female voice. Poor syntax. Now there are two connected, definitely will report this.
Just got a call from this # on my cell phone a woman asked if I wanted to save money on my auto insurance and I said yes. Then she asked if I have DUI and if I own my home . Then she asked how I spell my 1st name. Then I asked her for the name of her company she resisted for a while. Then she stated National insurance foundation, when I asked her how she got my cell pone, she changed the subject and stated that an agent will call me good bye and hung up. When I call back it stated the # is not correct or not available to me. How do I find out who this person is & how she got my phone # ?
In the simplest of terms, when you answer the phone but do not know the sender, you are confirming that they called a working number. I NEVER answer a call that I do not know the sender.
