This number leaves a message saying they are the IRS and call back to avoid penalty. When you call back they answer "Internal Revenue Service" and ask for the number they called you on, then put you on hold. Its a scam.
Got a call from this number. Called back and the guy who answered the phone presented himself as Officer James Murphy batch # 23599…He was rude and insisted to get my personal info. I refused to give him information since I didn't trust him. If it was IRS they would't ask for any personal information. It's a scam.

I got the same massage as people above and the first thing I'm checking on line because I watched a program about all scams including IRS that visited people at home and got a money from poor people. I know that IRS will take a different approach. Thank you all for shearing your stories and concerns. It's very helpful.
