This is a company called Fair Collections Outsourcing. Their main office # is 240-374-4500. The # that called me was 240-374-4699, which turns out to be "Jerome Holloway's" extension. The outsourced call, obviously from somewhere in the Middle East due to dude's accent, has called me three times in 2 days. Yesterday they were back to back calls sent to my voice mail. They are NOT fair. They DO NOT follow the Fair Debt rules and I have proof...I sent them a certified letter asking for the amount of the debt, name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed, provide a verification or copy of any judgment and proof that they are licensed to collect debts in the State of Florida. They provided me everything but the license. So, I wrote another letter to them informing them I disputed a portion of the debt and because they did not provide proof to collect debt, they need to cease all communication with me until they can provide that information to me by mail. This was JULY 2011...and I'm still getting harassed and they are still NOT getting paid. What's the point of following the law, if the law still doesn't protect you from these [***].
