This number has called 4 times already today! First one starting at 7 am when I was still sleeping! I blocked it using the app Call Blocker, but didn't realize that the app is only equivalent to pressing "ignore" because the number left a voicemail! Voicemail goes: Last notice before the IRS.... After 3 voicemails, I had to go onto my Verizon blocker--which blocks PERMANENTLY to put the number on that list. The reason i haven't been able to put every spam/scam call onto the Verizon Block is that Verizon only allows 20 numbers. The sheer number of robo-calls and spam/scam calls I have received in the past year have averaged anywhere from 1-6 per day (all unique/different numbers from all over the country) & Verizon would need to provide the capacity of at least 1,000 numbers to block! Alas, Verizon doesn't have the bandwidth to do that.
Had a cal from this number saying that it is last notice for IRS is going to sue me for something and i needed to call back this number for me to get more details. Didnt call back, i dont have any reason for IRS to come after me anyway
I received the same message saying that I owed the IRS $8,000.00. I contacted the local police and they said it was a scam. They have called several times and usually from different numbers and different states.
I just received a scam call from the IRS saying they were going to come to my home arrest me and put me on a plane to Washington DC and put me in jail...LOL...really!!!!???...That the IRS is putting a lawsuit out on me..who talks like that???!!!
I just got a message yesterday stating that if I didn't respond immediately to this call, it was my last chance before the IRS brought a lawsuit against me. Upon calling the number back, last night, the phone just kept ringing and ringing, but wouldn't pick-up or allow me to leave a message. When I tried it today, there's a message that the phone number is incorrect or not in service...this is most definitely a scam and should be something that the IRS Fraud Unit should be made aware of and be able to follow up on...that is, when there not going after registered Republicans. Sorry, didn't mean to be so cynical, but this is what we must deal with now. Just erase it and don't trust anything that you're not 100% sure of.
