So I call this number back and of course "Joe" answers acting like he called me and says we are on a recorded line, that's fine with me. So I begin to tell him I have asked numerous times for them to stop calling, I am on the do not call registry and have reported them to the FTC, "CLICK". They hang up on me! That must be real good if they are recording the call. BIG SCAM! They are not recording their calls because that would mean they would be shut down immediately! AND of course give no company name and when I call back they have a recorded message for you to leave your number in THEIR DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. Yeah so they can drain your bank account.
Calls my mobile number constantly - more than once a day. No messages ever left. Finally answered today - this is a Social Security Disability claim scam. Caller said his name was Billy.
I got a call today saying that his name was Billy wanted to do a disability claim it's a scam when I told him I did not have a disability he just hung the phone up.
It seems this number is now being used for the "Can you hear me alright" scam. Attempting to get you to answer yes so they can record your reply. The caller says they are from Trip Advisor and the first question they ask is "can you hear me alright". This scam has been well reported on here in MD and VA on the local news.
