This guy def has an attitude problem. He's rude, unprofessional & obviously a scam. We get calls from him & several others...all wanting money. Don't fall for his crap. Just hang up the phone after you tell him to "Kiss-off!!"
Our household gets swamped with such calls. This one came up on Caller ID as "Unknown" but did list the number. A company with a similar name to that mentioned above does collect used clothes in our area but I believe my wife knows their number, and it's not this.
It's the same number everytime, and the same guym, supposedly from a veterans association of america. He wants money. I am sorry to tell him but I am already supporting a veteran- my husband, and no matter what he thinks military families don't get paid that much. He has a serious attitude problem. He has been told not to call our number anymore yet refuses. When asked what the call is reguarding he gets angry and hangs up. HE NEEDS TO STOP! This is harrassment!
Whenever someone calls saying they are calling on behalf of a veteran's association of some sort, or police association of some kind, ask how much of the donated amount actually goes to the charity (police, veterans etc) Almost always they will tell you 85% (or more!) goes to MARKETING (meaning the company making the phone call annoying you) NOT THE CHARITY! I always tell them we never donate to anyone with that kind of split...it is a guilt free way to get these people off your back.
Yea this guy called my house and didn't answer on the other end, it bothered me more than usual so i attempted to call back for about 15 minutes to at least annoy the guy but he does not have an answering machine. If he calls back i will ask him specifics.
