Did not leave message. Called the # back 3 times; it was "unavailable". Probably a scam as I never worked in the corporate world and retired years ago.
Clearly a scam. Got a call on my cell from 240-399-7949 - didn't leave a message. An hour later got a call from 240-399-7948 - didn't leave a message. I called both numbers back from my work phone and they answered "corporate payroll services." Now, I do the payroll for my company, so I know they are not legitimate. I hung up!
Female called the business office asking for one of our doctors stating they were from CPS. I asked if they were were from Child Protective Services and she stated she was from Corporate Payroll Service. Very vague regarding who they were. I Googled them and they are an employee payroll service.
