IRS scam from Pakistan. He said I owed $10,000 dollars. I decided to mess with him. I told him $10,000 USD is 95.40 Pakistani Rupees(it's just the opposite), and I could send him 96 rupees to make it even. He argued that it was not. I said "My mistake. Let me recalculate. 95.40 rupees is 91 cents USD. I'll be happy to send him 91 cents to clear this up." He argued that I was still wrong. So I asked him how much he needed. He repeated $10,000. So I asked "What is the exchange rate from dollars to rupees?" He said it was 1 dollar to 104.83 rupees. So I said, "OHHH!! So, 10,000 rupees is $95.40 USD! Ok, I will be in D.C. tomorrow, so I will hand deliver the money order to the main IRS building." He insisted that I had to send him the money right now. I told him I don't have a currency exchange here so I can't send him 96 rupees today, but thanks for the heads up. Have a nice day. Then I hung up.
