Left a few seconds of dead air on my voicemail. You know, just enough to waste my time. There are only a few types of person who do that. One type is the incredibly ignorant and/or stupid person who is just dumbfounded by this new fangled mechanical phone answering device -- too startled to hang up or leave a message. Another type is the barely human scum known as criminal telemarketers; even worse than regular telemarketers who might respect the Do Not Call list. A third type is the legal loophole telemarketer, such as political opinion polls. They might not be breaking the law, but they know most of us wouldn't answer if we knew who's calling. Fortunately, same response to all: BLOCKED!
