They just called me from this #. Last week it was 240-743-5775. Both #'s are SMS enabled VOIP lines. The "please call back" # traces to downtown Boston. They are claiming to be a litigation service. They have used both UVS & UBS. Said i was being sued for a payday loan from an area i havent been to in 6 years (2/16/2010 to be exact), but fisrt the loan was done in 2011, then 2012.
I have 3 superior court systems, 3 location specific local LEO's and the FEDS working on this.
*Addendum * on today's call i told them that all agencies (for lack of a better lump sum word) have stated that these people are fraudulent.....the dude immediately hung up on me!
So if they call you, and it's a live person, keep asking for info (where, what, when, how, etc.), and be nice and specific. Ask for their names, write down everything, and catalog the times and dates of all calls. Make no threats!
I tell you to do this for 2 reasons:
1) if YOU sue THEM it is usually settled out of court in your favor at $1500.00 PER CALL!
And
2) the second they ask for any 1 payment that is $1900.00 or more, it is a direct violation of The Patriot Act
