Who called from 2404421756

This number constantly calls me. My number is in the national do not call registery.

Got a call from this number-no answer.  Having trouble finding out who's calling from this number.

Caller ID shows "unknown name"  I called back.  It is actually the Fraternal Order of Police soliciting contributions for whatever they solicit funds for.

DONOTCALL, just another waste of taxpayers money..


I have comcast phone, and though I am not crazy about comcast, I can block up to 12 numbers.. After a few calls, I remove and 'inactive' number and put in a current 'pain'. one more call from 2404421756 and on the list they go...

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.
