Stated that they were calling with the information I wanted. (I have not requested any information!) I suspect they are trying to purchase a Structured Settlement I received in the past.
They asked for someone in my family who does not live with us. I suspect it was a collection agency but they did not identify themselves and apologized for bothering me when I told them the person they asked for does not live here.
Caller stated they were requesting info about a case that was filed in an Illinois county. Gave another number to call 1-240-482-1676. Both numbers are unlisted and neither phone call has ID attached to their numbers. Another call about a structured statement.
Some guy left a message asking us about our structured settlement that we cashed in on. Wanted to know if we think we got fair value for it. Well of course not desperate times are upon us and these jerks know it so they screw us! It was that or let our van get repoed! Not much choice there!! Really why call us, its not like they are going to get us more money now!!!
A man called & asked for a relative by name. Without revealing the relationship, I said that no one by that name lives here. He then asked if he is not living here now, or he has never lived here. I said that he never lived here. He then asked me if I had a number for this person. I said, "No, I don't." He thanked me and hung up. He did not identify himself, nor is his number available on the computer. The computer did say that the call originated in West Chester, MD
