240 547 2488 is an IRS scam. The individual began calling me a [***] and telling me I wanted to [***] after I called him out on the scam. Level 3 Communications has been informed of the issue with this number, as well as, the Prince George's County Police Department. Level 3 Communications did not seem very motivated to discontinue this number which is directly associated with their organization. The publicly traded stock company is proving why it is a horribly run organization for investing anyone's time and money. The initial agent I spoke with a Level 3 Communication (Jeffery Montoya) was extremely condescending insisting he was going to control the conversation and refusing initially to reveal his name.
