Haven't seen Dennis Quaid in many films lately; guess now we know what he's doing. Same message as reported by others; the voice sounds computer generated, kinda like Stephen Hawking
The caller identifies himself as Dennis Que? and says there is a warrant out for you filed by the IRS and you need to call the number 240 581 5881 immediately to avoid going to jail. They don't identify the "company" but indicate they are the IRS. The IRS needs to send an armed agent about six foot six, two hundred ninety pounds with a serious "attitude" problem to the location of this phone and let the scammer know how much the IRS doesn't appreciate his act!
"Dennis Quaid" with a very heavy accent ....calling to tell me that "You will need to appear before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 240-581-5881. I repeat 240-581-5881. I'd advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you."
YEAH RIGHT.....DO NOT FALL FOR THIS CRAP. "THANK GOODNESS" WE HAVE A "DO NOT CALL LIST," HUH???!!! WHAT??!!! WTF!!! THE NEXT PRESIDENT WE ELECT NEEDS TO REFORM THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SECTOR ENTIRELY.......AND BLOCK PEOPLE FROM CONDUCTING ILLEGAL SCAMS BY CLONING AMERICAN TELEPHONE NUMBERS
