Got a text message saying i have a bench warrant against me for nonpayment of cash loan. I asked for them to send me the information regarding this such as the company i supposedly took loan out with. They of course didn't have this just the name of the company. I have dealt with this before with them calling me at my workplace constantly. I told them i was contacting the FBI and Federal Trade Commission and they said i would get into alot of trouble. I just laughed at the idiot and asked since when do they issue warrants via text messages. He could barely speak english much less write a legable text. Beware of these fools

On Arp 7, 2014 I received the following: THIS IS ROBIN SMITH FROM STATE INVESTIGATION and your case number is CI348479. Your payment is pending against the outstanding loan and WEwant to know when you are going to make the payment against the payday loan? This is the last notification from the county else a BENCH warrant would be generated against you. What are you willing to do regarding this case?? I replied back asking who it was for and they replied back "Rapid Cash Finance". I then asked for a phone number to call then and they replied back that the number for text is then only number they had. I then asked for a copy of the case doucments vis US Mail and they replied back that "they are not allowed to send any documentation as per the authorities because of security reasons". If you try calling the 240-652-5124 number you get a recording that the number is a unlimited text only number. IS THIS FRAUD OR IS IT FRAUD?
It's fraud! Neither text, fax or email is a legal way of "serving" court documents. Debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you had defaulted on a loan, you cannot be arrested! Block their number on your phone.
