Yes, they call and hang up before you answer. I called back and it was a guy named Mike with some sort of "cleaning service"  went to voice mail and asked to leave a message but voice mail was full. It was a T-mobile number 240-755-2420

Received a call from this number about a credit card I don't have. Looked up the number and it's linked to a cleaning company in Maryland.

Just got a recorded message about lowering interest rate on credit card of course I hung up.

Got a call from this number and they said they were doing a survey on behalf of ESPN, I aksed how they got this private number and she said the computer randomly picks numbers, I told her to stop calling and I hung up, phone number comes up as some cleaning company
