This person called me but the weird thing is that it wasnt my cell phone it was a whistle app I have on my iPad that u can call ppl from. I don't even own a house I live in a college dorm. They called twice in a 25 min period
Got the same call today to my cell,,they hung up. I found out it is Power Windows telemarketing. I signed up for a contest on WMZQ website last night to win a $50,000 home remodeling and when asked what I would remodel of course I said windows. After submitting the entry I got "a representative will call you shortly".. well damn,, I entered a contest not to be haunted by telemarketers from this Power Window place. They starting calling me 10 minutes after I hit "submit". If you get a call from PA (610) 874-5000 it is the same company. They have called me 12 times in less than 12 hours and I am just about fed up with them.
I cannot believe that WMZQ woudl condone or support such nonesense behavior. Do not enter the WMZQ contest or any contest for Power Window.. it's a total scam... you'll regret it forever.
i did the same thing.... signed up for the contest on WMZQ - figured there wouldn't be any of that on their site. get lots of calls, i just don't answer them.... oh well
In March 2012, reps from this company, Power Home Remodeling Group, were going door to door offering free estimates for windows/siding/roof. My husband accepted an estimate for windows & we had the estimate. They were over priced and we were not interested and told them so. On 3/27/12, they called from 240-965-8500 (Greenbelt, MD). We have caller ID, saw who it was & didn't answer. On 3/28/12 they called twice, this time from 610-874-5000 (Chester, PA). Did not answer first call but got the second and told them "we were not interested, on the Do Not Call Registry and to please stop calling & remove our number from their telemarketing list" but they persisted by saying the "boss" wants to come to our house for another estimate and to work out a better deal - I told them "don't waste your time". On 4/9/12, they called, AGAIN, from 240-965-8500 so I told them the same - "we were not interested, on the Do Not Call Registry and to please stop calling & to remove our number from their telemarketing list". On 4/21/2012, they called again from 240-965-8500. I told the person that I had nicely asked them, twice, to please stop calling and to remove our number from their telemarketing list and since they were still calling, I was reporting them to "Do Not Call", which I did on 4/21/12. The calls stopped for a while, but today at noon, we received another call from them from the 240-965-8500 number in Greenbelt, MD. I did not answer but reported them again to "Do Not Call" and also to The Better Business Bureau. This is a very pushy company that is willing to break laws (continued calling to someone registered with Do Not Call who has asked them more than once to stop calling and remove the number). This is basically harassment and it needs to stop.
