The caller spoke with a foreign, oriental accent and said he was with some oil and gas something or other.
He had 2 questions:
1. Verified your name
2. How much money do you make.
Said they were "updating their records".
Repeatedly, I asked....WHO is keeping these records and what is the purpose
They hung up.
This is a followup...I called the number back just now. A ATT voice prompt said the number has been disconnected from service.
This sounds like the scammer is hijacking old phone numbers for malicious purposes
