They call my home office number several times a day. Many times they leave a voice mail asking me to confirm my name and if it is me to call them back at the 800 number. Today I accidently answered and spoke to Resheeda ext 3947 who went on to tell me that the debt company took over accounts from Nicor Gas and that I had an outstanding debt from Nicor Gas from 4/2002 for one of my rental properties. She even gave me an account # and dates. I thought this may be true but wanted to check into it. I then decided to call back 5 minutes later to the number Resheeda gave me 877-768-9844 ext 3947 who then tranferred me over to some guy. He asked for a credit card #. At this time, I felt uncomfortable and told him I would have to call back. I started to remember an issue/misunderstanding with Nicor gas a few years ago but was pretty confident that it had been resolved. I then googled the number and came to this site. What a help this was! I really wish there was something more we could do to stop these crooks!
I got calls fromthis number, sometimes at 8 AM on Sundays - not cool. I am not the person they are looking for. I rent and they are looking for the former tenent. Please stop calling!!!

THEY WILL TRY TO PUT NEGATIVE MARKS ON YOUR CREDIT HISTORY, BUT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CONTEST IT AND THE CREDIT HISTORY COMPANIES WILL REMOVE IT. DO NOT CALL THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBERS. REMEMBER, OLD DEBT THAT IS MORE THAN 7 YEARS OLD THAT HAS PASSED THE STATUE OF LIMITATIONS. YOU ARE SAFE AS LONG AS YOU DON'T AGREE TO A PAYMENT AGREEMENT. ONCE YOU ENTER INTO A PAYMENT AGREEMENT WITH THESE ZOMBIES, THE DEBT BECOMES BRAND NEW AND LEGAL. THEY ARE CALLED ZOMBIES BECAUSE THEY RESSURECT OLD DEBT FROM THE DEAD.
claims to be Andra Andrews, asks to talk to said name when you say no you may not she says why the "hell" not, I hang up, calls back, threatens children, non-stop phone calls, all hours of nights and mornings. Crazy! I don't have any old debt that I know of this crazy could be collecting on, I think she is a fraud.
They are very very rude and threatening! They have left a message on my voice mail that says "you confirm you are the person... by listening to this message." or some such garbage.
Also, we are registered with Do not Call. So is it legal for them to call us? Hmmmm?
Someone called me from this number, and he was very rude. I don't even have any debt. They apparently called me because the previous person to have my phone number has outstanding debt.
