I just called back the number and someone actually answered. They answered Car.com! They had my name and most of my information. They then asked me to verify telephone numbers, bank accounts and credit score information. Naturally I refused. They also wanted me to talk to a credit repair consultant. However, I do not have nor have I ever had any credit problems. It sounded almost like a threat. Stay away from this number. I am filing a formal complaint.
