The DoNotCall Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. Conversely, if you are on the Registry and you receive telemarketing calls, you may be sure they are from abusive telemarketers or scammers so toy with them as you wish, they are begging to be messed with.
When I called it back got a recording saying the number I dialed is incorrect. My guess is this is a bill collector with a variable caller ID number based on their call location to make it look like a local call.
Very pushy woman offering free estimate for insulation installation. Had to hang up after telling her we were not interested several times. She already had a time and date for her company to come out. Did not catch the company name as she had a very thick accent.
second time in 2 days ,selling insulation etc, Also with day and time they will be coming. Since I warned them before will report # to FCC for all the good it does. SEEMS LIKE THE DNC THING ISN'T WORKING ANYMORE.
