This is the third time over the past month I get a phone call on Sunday evenings from this number with the name of ERCA KOHN CLEAN from an automated dialer with a message selling carpet cleaning and stating the leave a name and number to schedule an appointment. The ability to have them stop calling does not work. My number is on the Do-Not-Call list but that does not seem to matter. I have filled complaints with the FTC and State of Michigan AG. This is not the type of company anyone would want to do business with and it should be illegal for them to use such an automated system with no way to talk to a real person.
Unsolicited automated call from Erka Kohn Cleaning the day after I visited an Allergy Clinic for the first time (UofM at Reichart) - no allergies btw.
I am on do not call.
Had a terrible visit from representative of Kohn Cleaning Service. We received a call from Quality Service Duct Cleaning for $95.00 Duct Cleaning. We were promised two of her best people. I had a bad feeling when I saw no logo on the truck and first thought this guy is going to rob us later or kidnap my husband. The $95.00 cleaning was actually $230.00. My husband stated he was adding things to the work sheet and he told him to take them off. But the bad feeling we had about the person continue so we had him STOP and pack up. The final cost $155.00! When we went to pay he asked for cash and we told him we could write a check and wanted to make the check out to Quality Control Duct Cleaning, but he said no, we had to make it out to someone else. We then tried to call the company so we can make the check out properly and we couldn't reach anyone at the office. He kept calling as well and argued with me the entire time. Then he said they were all out at lunch at the same time. How many times does this happen at a professional office! He then tried to qualify this my saying the Sterling Heights Police Dept. and Jail all go to lunch at the same time and no one is in the office. My husband stated even the boss should have a cell phone on him. I asked what happens if he gets hurt and there is no one at the office. And he just smirked and stated he was a big boy. Then the guy revealed that he asked for cash because we argued about the promised $95.00 cleaning fee and felt we were going to give him a bogus check! Wow, If we were going to do that why even stop him from continuing on with the cleaning. The guy who showed up had a bad attitude, nasty mouth and would not be quiet. Before he left he asked my husband to sign a final time about satisfied service and he said NO he wasn't going to sign. So he refused to give us a receipt. I took down his license plate number in case he returns to our house to do anything. Moral of the story: Don't have anything to do with Kohn Cleaning Service and Quality Control Duct Cleaning Service. Their employees have bad attitudes and are unreachable in the event of a dispute with their employees.
