I got a called from this number saying call back 8778455988 file number 269180 is this a joke a scam because I'm like really not in the mood for crazy calls from people talking about arrest warrants and stuff my bills is always paid and then if someone is out here using my name someone is this a game help
I got a call from this # today as well. They left me the same message with a case #. They asked to call an 800 # 877845-5988. The message was from an automated system, not a live operator. Sounds fishy!!
yes they keep calling and asking for personal information and not saying anything and leaving case numbers and when i take with my locate police stations and the local court house they say nothing in the system i just want these people to stop calling me and scaring me with no sense and think that it is okay this is not fare to anyone to have to go through this really its not and i do not understand how people can get away with this it need to stop now they know how to call from numbers listed closer to where people live its not right at all how do we get this to stop really i need some answer really because i will not live my life in fear and worry about something that i did not do seriously.
I received a phone call from this number today, no message was left, then 4 minutes later they called my work under a "private" number. The woman said her name was Selma White and the I should write down case #1876121 and call LPS at 877-226-4912 since there was a claim against me. So I called the 877 number and spoke to a man that stated I was being sued for a payday loan I never paid back from a company called St Armands. I looked in the bank records for deposits from St Armands and the date he gave me, I had nothing showing the entire year let alone the specific date he gave me. I told him to serve me with the documents at my place of employment, he had the address and I gave it to him. He kept telling me the burden of proof is on me if this goes to court and I said bring it, I have proof that I have never received any money from this company EVER!! After speaking to him Selma called me back and said that she was coming to serve me because she was in the area and asked if I had a valid state ID. I told her I had a drivers license and I would be waiting for her, I even gave her the address again and the cross roads where my work is. I have yet to see Selma but I truly hope she shows because there is an attorney one suite over and I plan on calling him into my office when she shows her face as she presents fake documents to me. This is such a joke!!!!!!!!!!! I have had several calls from several companies with the same story but different names of pay day loan companies I apparently owe. This has been going on for several years and I have yet to be sued. This is the biggest SCAM!!!!!!! I just wish I knew how they got such sensitive information about me
