After several calls, I answered. They told me that I have a rather large past-due amount owed on my Comcast Bill. "Impossible!" I insisted. I'm a current Comcast customer with a zero balance. Have been a customer for the past couple of years without any interruptions. They said that I needed to contact Comcast to find out why this past-due amount is still floating around out there. I did and Comcast said they couldn't find any record of an unpaid service fee owed. They kept calling. I just don't answer the phone. Let them figure it out, I'm good!
This is a collection agency, Common Law. They call several times a day and never leave a message. I finally called and when I heard is was a collection agency, I spoke to someone that they got the wrong #. Calls have ceased.
Received call at 7:29 p.m. today. Recorded message, press 1 for English. etc. So I pressed 1 and was promptly placed on hold, like anyone has the time for that.
