This is a legitimate research company geared towards automobiles and doing focus groups and one on one interviews. They pay about $200 to $250 for about 2 hours of your time discussing specific cars. It is not a sales pitch and strictly research. It's a good experience if you are selected to participate.
i answered the call today. finally a person was on the line after at least 10 calls in the last week. It was FORD MOTOR COMPANY asking if i would participate in a focus group in atlanta. (I bought a Ford truck recently). Jerks.

Odd questions like who made decesions in our family on what insurance to have and who made our Drs appts and how long we had insurance.
Sat, 9/27 - 2:45 p.m. - Woman who called asked if I was interested in participating in a focus group - I asked her to put me on the "no call list." She told me because she wasn't selling anything, I they did not have to do that! I explained to her that she had to abide by my wishes, per the Pennsylvania No Call law. She said she wasn't in PA so didn't have to follow the PA law! She also said the federal no call law didn't apply to her because she wasn't selling anything. I asked for a supervisor, who said they would put me on the no call list. I asked her to instruct her employee that she did indeed have to follow the Pennsylvania law, no matter where she was located. What idiots.
