The calls (248 area code) are out of Southfield, MI and the mailing address for United Cancer Support Foundation is Farmington Hills, MI. They placed a GuideStar GOLD Participant logo on their paperwork, but GuideStar doesn't show them on their site. Charity Watchdog has them listed and gave them a big fat "F"!! 95% of their money goes to the organization and 5% to charity.
Call came in at 8:37 a.m. EST today. When I picked up, there was no one on the other end. I tried redialing the number and got a Verizon Long Distance Operator, who suggested it may have been a computer-generated call, like a lot of companies and telemarketing services use.
