This number texted me. Used my name and asked if I was up. Once I responded , who is this, it texted back information to view some kinda "web show" . Guessing sexual in nature, but didn't click for fear of viruses.

I got one last night 3:19am addressing me by my first name...thanks for the warning, esp since I don't have 'free' texting!

My 11 yr old son got text from this # at 11:56pm said "sup (name) can you talk". Anyone know how to block/prevent future texts/calls??

If you have Verizon you can block up to nine phone numbers.  You have to go into your account through their web page to set up the blocking.
