A supposed "National Polling Firm" called for my opinion. I asked what firm and they said they did not have a name. I asked who was paying them for my opinion and they said they were a National polling firm. Never got an answer. I said I would be happy to give you my opinion but I would like to know how it would be used and for whom. The lady put me on "hold" and never came back to the call.
The only reason why I even picked up the phone was because my Caller ID said Troy, MI (where I live). The voice that answered sounded VERY young, so I apologized and asked her age. She said 16, but I doubt she was even that old. I asked the name of her polling firm and she couldn't/wouldn't answer. I asked to speak with an adult, and a man came on the phone and was making ME seem odd that I would ask perfectly normal questions that he wouldn't answer (and he also lied, because I told him my caller ID said Troy, MI--I asked WHERE he was calling from several times--he FINALLY said Ohio--but the internet says this is a Clarkston MICHIGAN number.) This was an obviously black voice who was not pleased when I had told him I would NOT be voting for the current President.
Thanks for posting info on this number. I like to check the numbers my digitone blocked just in case it was a legitimate caller. I have no desire to answer any polls and it's none of their business who I'm voting for unless they want to pay me for the personal info, and they won't.
