Who called from 2485344199

SCAM!! This guy and I exchanged emails about tutoring his "daughter". His "Attorney - Jeffrey Barnes" was travelling soon, so he needed to send the check asap. Oh no, there was an error and the attorney sent the money meant for the caregiver to me instead... He tells me to deduct the lesson fee and assist in sending the leftover funds to the Caregiver...

A few days later, he calls me and I told him that if he sends the check, that I was going to return it to him. He had his "Attorney" call me (funny, it was a different number, but the same voice). The attorney tried to make me feel about "Why don't you want to tutor my Client's Daughter..." - UM, Because it's a SCAM.

He used 3 different numbers: 518-983-6220 and 248-534-4199 and 512-812-3879.

Omg. I contacted the tutoring company asking them if others had complained. He keeps demanding my HOME address as his lawyer is going to send a check, and the care giver will come etc... lol. Seems crazy. What does he want exactly???

Anyway I just googled his phone number and found this page where others had the same weirdo contact them.

He called his daughter JENNY in one email and Sophia in another.  Signed the various emails with different names even !
And yes poor English..using a Russian or Eastern European free email account.

he has been doing the same with me. Very odd. keeps insisting he gets my HOME address not a PO BOX. What is his scam. Obviously he is up to no good. But what is he doing?  Still confused.  Anyway I did report all the emails to the tutoring company.
