looking for someone and claims to be a dialup operator with a Indian accent

I got a call from this number today too. My sister took the call, ask for me personally, but got disconnected. Called back and no answer.

this number displays Frequently on my caller id. have been unable to contact.

this number showed up today on my caller id.  didn't leave message.

got a call from this number 248-556-2371, picked up call to late they hung up. No message was left. Who is this? I can see this is happening else where . How can we report it to the proper authorities. Annoyance calls or what?
