He didn't throw any curve balls - he got right to the point and asked if that field might attract my attention to look into. It doesn't, and he accepted that answer quickly. Very polite fellow.
Same guy called me. It seems odd to be called about looking into another field, but like the others have said, he was very direct and to the point. Nothing strange about the conversation at all.
Same guy called me. I didn't return the call. Said he had a local company (Detroit) and my name was passed to him and to give him a call back. I do not give my home phone number out so I thought it was odd he called it.
