This is a first... I have been on the do not call registry for years, and it has come to mean so little in protecting our privacy. In my state (Michigan) I was advised by the Attorney General that I would need to get a zip code and address to file a complaint. Today I got a call from 1-248-809-4125 that wanted to help me consolidate my credit card debt. I never advise that I am on the do not call list, I just ask for their zip code. When I do, they hang up, as they know the drill far better than I do. Tonight, Jasmine, gave me her zip code and address, that I then found on the white pages with the correct geo location. As it turns out, Jasmine determined that she could not help me. When she gave me her zip and address, I forgot about my <do not call registry> impressed by an honest company...for once a telemarketer with a soul.
