I just received a text from 248 971 0913 US Exress and 20 minutes later from 877 301 4979 US Exress. I reported both to Verizon by texting to 7726 and also received an url to block the numbers.
How do I report SMS spam and phishing to cell phone carriers?
1. Forward the message to 7726 (which spells “SPAM” on most phone keypads). Please don’t edit the message or add any comments – just forward it to 7726. The 7726 program is an anti-fraud effort between AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-mobile to help eliminate spam by sharing SMS phishing data among the carriers.
2. You’ll receive a reply with instructions about where to send the phone number that sent you the spam/phishing message.
