These jerks are claiming to be "Bernie with The Veterans Association." It's a scam! They have called me MULTIPLE times over the past several days and keep hanging up when it goes to voice mail. Caller ID shows "Alabama Call." If you research the number, you'll see that it's assigned to a florist! Today, I finally called back and told them to NEVER CALL ME AGAIN! Who in their right mind would give money to any organization who calls?
My advice to everyone... NEVER give any money, personal information, etc., to ANYONE who calls you "out of the blue." Protect yourself, your money, and your information!

Unfortunately these crooks have stolen names and caller id's of real people and use these numbers to call you. The number may have been the florist. The phone companies can do nothing about this. They say most of these calls are actually coming from overseas. I never answer the phone anymore. Anyone who needs to talk with me will leave a message. I block as many calls as I can after reading these blogs. I talk with friends all over the country. It's happening in all communities. Remember they do not care about the do not call list. THEY ARE CROOKS
