Best Western National They called the front desk of my Best Western Hotel, stated my name and said I  had called and made a housekeeping complaint and they needed to talk to me. The desk told them my room number and transferred the call to my room. When I answered he told me he was with Best Western Rewards and International and there was a problem with my credit card when I checked in. He gave me my room number, address and the expiration date and the last 4 digits of my credit card and said he needed the first 12 numbers because that was not reflected in his system for security purposes. I told him no. If there was a problem call the front desk and I will walk up there. He called the front desk and again asked them for the first 12 digits stating there was a problem with my card. By then I had told them and they did not give it to him. I reported it to Best Western Rewards, my credit card company, the local police, my family at home since this guy has my home address and my employer. When you call the number it says Best Western National and allows you to push 1 for a message and then the female voice sounds as if she is from Nigeria or Africa. A Google search says the number 251-490-8010 belongs to a Rupert Jr 9753 Chambers Dr Mobile, Alabama. Best Western Rewards customer relations states this has been an ongoing problem this phishing scam. Sounds to me like Best Western needs more computer firewalls or something to protect its guests.
