Just go a call from this number today on my sons cell about 1030am called it back and disconnect notice. The really odd thing is that I grew up in fairhope, but haven't lived there in over twenty years.
I have a missed call from this number this morning on my cell! I don't give my cell number to anyone but friends and family. How are they getting our numbers? Very irritating!
All of our personal info is being sold by the DMV and the Phone Companies including cellular phone companies. All we can do is register our phone # to prevent Telemarketer from calling us and if they do we can file a complaint.
Same here.. July 14.. was called by this # on my cell phone.. didn't answer.. called it back.. got the automatic phone co. "mistake beeps" and recording that said "I'm sorry, this number is longer in service". How can you make calls from a number that is no longer in service? They had it disconnected one second ago? Weirdness w/ this number.
Large telemarketing companies are allowed to set their caller ID - someone who is willing to break the law by spamming cellphones is obviously not above faking their caller ID. If you can find out who they are, you be able to call the telephone company and get them shut down for faking their Caller ID.
