Got the same call today at 1:34 pm. Person claimed his name was Ben and I qaulified for a 50K governement loan that I didn't have to pay back. Give me a break, obviously a scam and I reported to DNC registry. So sick and tired of getting calls on my cell phone. How stupid do these people think the general public is? Sure, hang on a second there Ben and I will give you my social and bank account numbers. I am on the DNC list for a year now and it seems I get more and more of these calls every day. Do not answer the phone if you do not recognize the number. If you get a message, hit *67 to block the call and see who's on the other end. I seriously doubt the government would have an machine that doesn't identify themselves as a government agency and when you do a reverse look up no name comes up, just that it's a land line.I hope this helps you a little as to what to do when you recieve these bogus calls. I have actually set up these scammers on more than one occasion. Nothing feels better to me than bagging these people with a little help from law enforcement. Have a great evening.

Recieved call from this number. Claimed name was Ben and I was qaulified for 50K government loan that I did not have to pay back. Reverse look up just shows as a land line. *67 the number and get answering machine-not stating that a government agency. Obviously a scam. Reported to DNC registry as a complaint. Sick and tired of these calls. How do they even get your number. Never put cell or home phone on line for anything? Always file complaint with DNC on any number I do not recognize. Does the DNC actually follow up on these calls and if they are legit telemarketers, do they actually fine them or am I just spinning my wheels? Soooo sick and tired of these calls, change your cell and notify all family, friends and business associates of new number and less than a month goes by and your getting these calls! I never answer a number that I do not recognize and 90% of the time they do not leave a message. Call this number in a week and it will be disconnected and the so called Ben will be nowhere to be found. I am actually thinking of starting a business on the side to notify people immediately that the caller is bogus. Simply log in, put in the number and see what's up. Lots of websites out there but none are 100% on top of what is real. Just a big guessing game with people commenting on a call recieved and asking if it's real. Yea, the government is giving out free loans. The government is broke and so is half the country!
